By the end of this course, you are officially #MadeInBenchLab and will know: 1) the materials needed for basket weaving, 2) understand how to measure based on samples provided, 3) acquire the correct weaving techniques, and 4) when and how to decorate the finished product.
BenchLab Talented Instructor: Siti Nurhalifah. You’ll be learning from a talented local woman whose family has been involved in the traditional and contemporary woven basket industry for generations. Siti started joining her family in learning and perfecting her skills some 10 years ago. Today, she has hand-made and sold at least 1000 woven baskets! She has produced various products, ranging from simple grocery basket to intricate and elegant backpack and ladies’ handbags. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from the best.
